Applying for a Loan at SUAFCU
When applying for any loan other than a loan secured by shares, you will need to fill out an application and complete a loan interview. To start the loan process, simply fill out a loan application, then call the nearest full service Credit Union office and make an appointment with a loan officer who will let you know what additional information may be required along with your loan application. If you are applying for a loan together with an acceptable co-signer, you both will need to fill out and sign the application.
The interest rate charged on your loan is not determined by your credit score.
Selfreliance UAFCU will use the predetermined credit score provided by the Credit Reporting Agency when reviewing a member's creditworthiness and repayment ability as qualification for any loan.
The Credit Committee will review mortgage loans and certain other loans at its weekly meetings. Some loans may be approved the same day.
