POSITION: Teller

LOCATION: Main Office in Chicago, IL

SCHEDULE: Full Time

We are seeking an individual who is committed to providing exceptional service to our members as a Teller.

The ideal candidate must have excellent communication skills and fluency in English and Ukrainian. Although previous experience in banking and customer service is preferred, this position may be the first step towards a rewarding banking career. The ideal candidate must be able to travel between branches and be available to work all shifts including Saturdays and Sundays.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform financial transactions by receiving and paying out money with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Maintain accurate transactional records.
  • Continually identify our members’ needs and provide advice and guidance regarding other credit union products and services.

POSITION: Marketing Associate and Social Media Specialist

LOCATION: Main Office, Chicago

SCHEDULE: Full Time

We are seeking an individual who has previous experience in the day-to-day management of all social media platforms and increasing brand awareness through the effective use of social media outlets.

The ideal candidate will have formal training in social media management and/or marketing. Excellent communication skills and fluency in English and Ukrainian are a must.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage all social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, YouTube).
  • Plan and develop social media marketing campaigns (content, schedule, post, analyze and report).
  • Maintain a consistent brand voice through all content and customer interactions.
  • Setting key performance indicators (KPIs) for social media campaigns, such as targets for a certain number of shares or likes, and measuring a campaign’s performance against the KPIs.
  • Organize and participate in community events and work with community groups to promote credit union products and services.

POSITION: Universal Member Service Representative (Personal Banker)

LOCATION: Illinois Branch Offices

SCHEDULE: Full Time

We are seeking an individual who is committed to providing exceptional service to our Members as a Universal Member Service Representative. In this role, you will be eligible to participate in our generous Incentive Program.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in customer service and sales, and previous banking experience is preferred. Excellent communication skills and fluency in English and Ukrainian are a must.

  • Open and service all consumer and business account types.
  • Provide a variety of transaction services to members including teller, wire transfer, consumer loan, credit and debit cards.

POSITION: Universal Member Service Representative (Personal Banker)

LOCATION: Michigan Branch Offices

SCHEDULE: Full Time

We are seeking an individual who is committed to providing exceptional service to our Members as a Universal Member Service Representative. In this role, you will be eligible to participate in our generous Incentive Program.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in customer service and sales, and previous banking experience is preferred. Excellent communication skills and fluency in English and Ukrainian are a must.

POSITION: Residential Mortgage Originator

LOCATION: All Branch Offices

SCHEDULE: Commission Based Salary – Full-Time

We are looking for a mortgage professional who has a positive attitude, robust sales experience, and a strong work ethic to attract new residential loan members and solicit mortgage loans for Selfreliance.

The ideal candidate will have two years of previous experience in residential loan origination and will be familiar with loan products and secondary market guidelines. Excellent communication skills and fluency in English and Ukrainian are a must. Qualified candidates must comply with the SAFE Act requirements and maintain a flexible schedule to include after-hours training and customer appointments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsibilities include developing and maintaining relationships with borrowers, realtors, and the local community.
  • Contacting consumers to establish new business opportunities.
  • Providing applicants with information on the mortgage approval process, lending policies, procedures, and products.
  • Originating mortgage loans from application to closing and providing the required disclosures to applicants.

POSITION: Commercial Mortgage Originator

LOCATION: All Branch Offices

SCHEDULE: Full-Time
