POSITION: Training and Development Specialist

LOCATION: On-site at the Main Office in Chicago, IL

SCHEDULE: Full Time

COMPENSATION: $25 - $30 per hour, based on experience and qualifications

Selfreliance Federal Credit Union is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Training & Development Specialist to join our team!
This role is responsible for building effective training programs, managing employee onboarding, writing clear internal procedures, and acting as a liaison between the IT and Member Services departments - especially during system or technology upgrades.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver training: design and lead onboarding and ongoing training programs based on staff needs, including supporting new systems and technology rollouts.
• Create and maintain procedures: collaborate with IT, Member Services, and vendors to document and update internal procedures for products, services, and systems.
• Support employee development: assess training needs, manage learning resources, and promote a culture of continuous learning to ensure exceptional member service.

POSITION: Universal Member Service Representative

LOCATION: Minnetonka, MN, New Britain, CT, and Whippany, NJ

SCHEDULE: Full Time

COMPENSATION: The budgeted amount for the starting hourly rate is $22 per hour, plus eligibility for a monthly incentive program

Selfreliance Federal Credit Union is seeking motivated and service-oriented individuals to join our team as Universal Member Service Representatives.

If you're passionate about helping people and thrive in a customer-focused environment, we'd love to hear from you. In this role, you will be the face of our credit union, assisting members with financial products and services, and helping them find solutions that best fit their needs. This position is eligible for our generous Incentive Program, offering additional earning potential based on performance.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous customer service and sales experience (banking experience strongly preferred).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Data Processing Platforms and Microsoft Office.
• A commitment to delivering exceptional service.
• Fluency in both English and Ukrainian.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Continually identify our Members' financial needs and recommend appropriate credit union products and services.
• Open and service all consumer and business accounts.
• Assist members with a wide range of financial transactions, including teller transactions, member service issues, account maintenance, wire transfers, consumer loans, credit and debit card services, and other operational duties assigned by the Branch Manager.

POSITION: Teller

LOCATION: On-site at the Main Office in Chicago, IL, and Warren, MI (Part-Time only)

SCHEDULE: Full-Time, Part-Time (Warren, MI only)

COMPENSATION: The budgeted amount for the starting hourly rate is $20 per hour

Selfreliance Federal Credit Union is seeking a motivated and service-oriented individual to join our team as a Teller in our Main Office branch. If you're passionate about helping people and thrive in a customer-focused environment, we'd love to hear from you. This position may be the first step towards a rewarding banking career. In this role, you will be the face of our credit union, assisting members with financial products and services, and helping them find solutions that best fit their needs.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous customer service and sales experience (banking experience strongly preferred).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A commitment to delivering exceptional service.
• Ability to travel between branches and be available to work all shifts, including Saturdays and Sundays.
• Fluency in both English and Ukrainian.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform financial transactions by receiving and paying out money with a high degree of accuracy.
• Maintain accurate transactional records.
• Continually identify our Members' financial needs and recommend appropriate credit union products and services.

POSITION: Security Officer

LOCATION: Main Office - 2332 W. Chicago Ave, Chicago, IL 60622

SCHEDULE: Part-Time (M/Tu/W/F, under 30 hours per week)

COMPENSATION: The budgeted amount for the starting hourly rate is $24 per hour

Selfreliance Federal Credit Union is seeking a dependable and vigilant Security Officer to support safety and security at our Main Office facility in Chicago. This role is essential to maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for our members, employees, and visitors. The Security Officer serves as a visible security presence and assists in emergency situations. • Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field.

• Maintain a safe and secure environment for members and staff.
• Monitor facility activity and report suspicious behavior or safety concerns.
• Perform regular patrols of the building and surrounding areas.
• Respond promptly to incidents, alarms, or emergency situations.
