Selfreliance FCU opens new branch office in Hamtramck, MI
December 26th Selfreliance Federal Credit Union opened its new Hamtramck, Michigan branch office, across the street from Immaculate Conception Ukrainian Catholic Church. The office, at 11756 Charest Street, on the corner of Charest St. and Commor Ave. was once a bank building.
The Credit Union purchased the building from the Ukrainian American Archives and Museum, which thanked the Credit Union, writing: “Thank you for your commitment to the local Ukrainian American community and to the City of Hamtramck. The Board of Directors and I would like to thank you and the Selfreliance Foundation for your continued support of the Ukrainian American Archives & Museum.”
